Even more eye make up looks with Inglot

Tässä vielä kolme lookia, jotka olen tehnyt viimeisimmällä Inglot-paletilla. (Tuo on todellakin osoittautunut varsin monipuoliseksi, vaikka suurin osa sävyistä on sinertäviä.)
Here are 3 more looks done with my latest Inglot palette. (It's surprisingly versatile considering that it mainly has blueish shades.)

Tässä tulee lupaamani postaus Inglotin huulimeikeistä. Kovinkaan suurta määrää niitä ei ole kertynyt (vielä). Ja tervetuloa kaikki uudet lukijat! Ihana nähdä, että blogiani lukee jo näin moni. :)
Here's the post about Inglot lip products as promised, although I don't own that many. And welcome all you new readers. It really warms my heart to see that this many people read my blog. :)

Ensin swatchit kaikista tuotteista. / Here're swatches of all products. 
- AMC Lip Gloss 544 on aika hurjan näköinen omassa pakkauksessaan, mutta kädelle ja huulille kokeiltuna väri on pääsääntöisesti pinkki. Koostumus on ei-tahmainen ja hyvin kiiltävä. Itse olisi toivonut tahmaisempaa koostumusta, jotta kiilto pysyisi paremmin huulilla. Muuten se tuntuu kyllä hyvin miellyttävältä ja ei-kuivattavalta. Tuoksusta tulee mieleen rapsutettavat tuoksutarrat, joita oli lapsuudessani. :)
- AMC Lip Gloss 544 looks really wild in the tube, but when applied it mainly looks pink. It's non-sticky and very shiny. I would've preferred a stickier consistency (they stay longer on the lips). It feels very nice on the lips, non-drying. The scent reminded me of these scented stickers I had when I was a kid. :)
- Sleeks Lip Gloss 63 ja 54. Näiden koostumus on melko pigmenttinen, melkein voidemainen ja kimalteinen. Levittyvät helposti huulille, mutta itseäni tökkii hyvin esanssinen marjatuoksu.  
- Sleeks Lip Gloss 63 & 54. These are pigmented, quite creamy and glittery. Easy to apply, but the scent puts me off (sweet, artificial berry).
- Huulipunat 128 ja 412. Huulipunissa on todella erilaisia koostumuksia, mutta pakkauksissa tästä ei ole merkintää. Nämä kummatkin on melko mattaisia sävyjä. 128 on tumma, todella kaunis pinkki, joka on huiman pigmenttinen ja levittyy hyvin ja pysyy huulilla pitkään. 412 taas on todella matta, aika kuiva (hieman hankala saada levittymään nätisti). Huulipunissa ei ole mielestäni lisättyä tuoksua, mutta niissä on hieman vahamainen haju.
- Lipsticks 128 & 412. Inglot's lipsticks have different finishes, but they are all called just 'lipsticks'. Both of these have fairly matte finish. 128 is a darkened, beautiful pink. It's very pigmented, applies really well and wears for a long time. 412 is a true matte, a bit dry (can be hard to apply evenly). In my opinion these lipsticks aren't scented, but they do have a mild waxy smell.

Pidän Inglotin huulipunista ja kiilloista, mutta tuoksut hieman tökkivät. MAC on edelleen itselleni ykkönen huulituotteiden osalta. 

I like Inglot's lipsticks and glosses, but I don't care for the scents. MAC is still my number one when it comes to lips.

I had to try my new Inglot palette right away. And I'm sold. <3 Those dark teals are to die for.

The colors look a bit more purple than in reality.

Mattasävyt ovat todella mahtavia. Häivyttäminen on hieman työläämpää, mutta sitä se on aina mattaluomivärien kanssa. Ne myös pysyivät moitteettomina koko päivän, vaikka mittari näytti välillä yli +30 astetta. 

These matte shades are amazing. Blending is a bit harder, but that's always the case with matte eye shadows. And they stayed put the whole day, even though it was over +30 degrees (Celsius).  

Inglot Haul - Teals and Dark Blues

Inglotin Facebook-faneja hemmoteltiin vuorokauden ajan, kun heidän fanimääränsä ylitti 2000. Olin katsellut swatcheja uusista mattasävyistä sekä Temptalia- että Sensaisti -blogeista. Pakkohan se oli lähteä käymään Myllyn liikkeessä ja koota uusi paletti. Suuri harmituksen aihe oli kuitenkin se, että uusia värejä ei tullut ollenkaan pyöreinä nappeina. Kaikki muut palettini ovat nimenomaan niitä, joten näiden yhdistely on hankalampaa. (Eikä miellytä esteettistä silmääni.) Nähtävästi paleteilla on ollut kysyntää, koska vein viimeisen tyhjän 10 napin paletin.
Inglot pampered its Finnish Facebok fans for one day after they got over 2000 fans on FB. I had already been drooling over new matte shade swatches and pictures on Temptalia and on Sensaisti blog (only in Finnish). So I just *had* to go to my nearest Inglot store and buy a new Freedom palette. These new shades come only in square pans which was a bummer 'cause all my other palettes contain round pans. It's much harder to mix and match the shadows (and it doesn't please aesthetically).

Kuten näkyy, niin tästä paletista löytyy sinisiä. ;) Inglotin mattasävyt ovat aivan mielettömän samettisen tuntuisia ja pigmenttiä riittää (tuo vihertävän keltainen M343 oikein hyppää tuolta kuvasta). Meikkikuvia on tulossa. :)

As you can see there're blue shades in this palette. ;) Inglot's matte shades are amazingly velvety and pigmented (especially that yellowy green M343, it just jumps out). Make up pictures are coming. :)

Finncon-Animecon 2011 - Dark Turquoise LOTD

Tänä viikonloppuna Turussa pidettiin Finncon-Animecon 2011. Itse olin siellä lähinnä töitten vuoksi lauantaina, mutta onneksi sivussa ehti myös nauttimaan ohjelmasta ja tietysti yleisöstä, joista suuri osa oli panostanut pukeutumiseen todella paljon. (Kuvia tulee varmasti näkyviin virallisten sivujen kautta.)
Finncon-Animecon 2011 was held in Turku this year. I was mainly working there on Saturday, but I had time to enjoy the programs and, of course, the visitors, who were dressed up so nicely. (I'm sure there'll be pictures on the official site later.)

Kaiken kaikkiaan oli tosi ihana tapahtuma ja Turkuun ollaan kaivattu jotain tällaista, joka eroaa täysin massasta. Jäi tosi hyvä fiilis. :) Ja joku ihana ihminen oli pukeutunut Doctor Who:ksi!!! <3

This was a really nice event. Turku has been in a need of something like this that is so out of ordinary. And some wonderful person was dressed up as Doctor Who (Ten to be exact)!!! <3

Fyrinnae: We're All Mad Here & Sennyo Looks

Minulla on aika monta luomivärisamplea Fyrinnae:lta. Olen vaan yleensä niin laiska, että jauhemaiset luomivärit jäävät makaamaan käyttämättä, koska aamuisin on yleensä niin kiire. Nyt olen kuitenkin innostunut kokeilemaan noita Inglotin Duralinen kanssa.
I have quite a few eye shadow samples from Fyrinnae. Loose eye shadows take more work and time and that's why I rarely use them. But now I've found new inspiration after finding Inglot's Duraline.

Juuri, kun olin kehunut, kuinka hyvin Duraline toimii, niin kokeilin sitä 'Sennyo':n kanssa. Kuvissa näyttää yllättävän hyvältä, mutta aluksi väri levittyi todella laikukkaasti ja vaati paljon kikkailua. Ja tuli ehkä hieman liian dramaattinen arkimeikki. ;) Sennyo muuttui paljon tummemmaksi kosteana kuin mitä se on purkissa.   

Just as I said how well Duraline works.. I tried it with 'Sennyo' and the result was very patchy and uneven at first. It took a lot of time to fix the look. It looks surprisingly nice in the pictures, though. And this was perhaps a bit over-dramatic for a work makeup. ;) Sennyo turned out much darker when used wet than it is in the jar.

Olen käyttänyt nyt muutaman päivänä Inglotin Duralinea ja täytyy sanoa, että minulla se toimii paremmin kuin Fyrinnaen Pixie Epoxy. Käytän Duralinea todella vähän, yksi tippa riittää kumpaankin silmään itselläni. Se saa myös luomivärit pysymään hyvänä koko päivän. Tipautan siis yhden tipan tuota nestettä kädelleni ja painelen sen siveltimeen (ei saa olla liian märkä), sen jälkeen dippaan siveltimen kärjen varovaisesti pigmenttiin ja painelen/levitän värin luomelle. Tämä on edelleen melko hidasta, mutta ehkä opin nopeammaksi. :) 

I've been using Inglot's Duraline during the past few days now and I must say it works better on me than Fyrinnae's Pixie Epoxy. I use it only a little, one drop is enough for both eyes. It helps the eye shadows to stay put all day. I put one drop of Duraline on the back of my hand and press it to the brush (brush mustn't be too wet) and after that I dip the brush carefully to the pigment. Then I press/blend the pigment to my eyelid. I'm still quite slow with this technique, but I'm learning. :)

Metallic Golden Rose - Eye Make Up

Sain käsiini samplen MACin 'Rose'-pigmentistä ja olen rakastunut. <3 Ihana metallinen viininpunainen, jossa on todella voimakas kultainen hohto. Tämä näyttää levitettynä melkein sulatetulle metallille. Piti päästä heti kokeilemaan. (MACin pigmenttejä saa muuten nykyään Turun ja Helsingin ständeiltä.)
I got a small sample of MAC's Rose pigment and I'm in love. <3 Beautiful metallic burgundy with lots of gold. This looks like molten metal when applied. I had to try it immediately.

En ole edelleenkään kovin hyvä pigmenttien kanssa. Levittäminen on aina vähän hankalaa. Pigmentit näyttävät aina parhailta kosteina levitettynä ja käytin veden sijaan Inglotin Duraline-nestettä (tämä neste muuttaa puuteriset luomivärit nestemäiseen muotoon). En tiedä, onko tuo paras mahdollinen vaihtoehto, mutta toimii ihan hyvin ja väri pysyy paikallaan. Lopputulos on todella metallisen, jopa suomuisen, näköinen. Tykkään. :) Tämän pigmentin voisin ostaa ihan täysikokoisena.

I'm still not the best with loose pigments. Applying is always a bit hard. Pigments look best when applied wet (imo). Here I used Inglot's Duraline (which is special transforming liquid that will turn any powder eyeshadow into liquid formulation) instead of water. I'm not sure if it's the best option, but it worked quite nicely and the pigment stays put. The finish is really metallic (almost scale-like) looking. Love it. :) I'm going to buy this pigment in full size. 

MAC Semi-Precious Lipsticks: Gem Of Roses & One Of A Kind

MACin Semi-Precious -kokoelma julkaistiin vihdoin myös Turussa. Tuotteista puuttui melkein puolet (esim. siveltimet puuttui kokonaan, huulipunista ja -kiilloista puuttui puolet), koska MAC ei niitä jostain syystä toimittanut Suomeen asti. :( Ja niitäkin tuotteita, jotka tänne asti saatiin, saattoi olla vain yksi kappale/tuote. Itse sain onneksi sen, mitä olin hakemassakin, eli 'Gem Of Roses' - ja 'One Of A Kind' -huulipunat. Hypistelin mineraaliluomivärejä ja kyllähän ne on nättejä kuin mitkä, mutta iholle kokeiltuna värit ei vaan toimineet.
MAC's Semi-Precious collection launched here this morning. Almost half of the products were missing (for example, we got no brushes and half of the lipsticks and cremesheens were missing). I guess MAC decided that people in Finland won't need them. :( And there seemed to be only one item in many cases. Do even need to say how much that sucks.. Gladly I got what I was after: 'Gem Of Roses' and 'One Of A Kind' lipsticks. I also swatched some of the mineralize eye shadows, but they just didn't work for me.

Molemmissa punissa on 'lustre'-koostumus, eli huulipunat ovat puolipeittäviä ja kevyen tuntuisia huulilla. Täydellisiä arkipunia. Halusin nämä värit, koska minulta loppuu kohta Viva Glam V-sävy, joka on lähellä näitä kahta. Se on ollut luottopunani, mutta halusin jotain vaihtelua.
These both are 'lustre' lipsticks. Semi opaque and they feel very light on the lips. Perfect lippies for every day use. I wanted these 'cause I'm running out of Viva Glam V and it's quite close these two. It's been my go-to lippe for a long time, but I wanted some change.

MACin huulituotteet ovat ehdottomasti lemppareitani. Huulipunissa on ihana vaniljan tuoksu ja eri koostumukset tuntuvat kaikki sopivan itselleni.

MAC lipsticks and glosses are my absolute favorites. They have a really nice vanilla scent and all different finishes suit my lips so well.
