Black Summer

Melkein vuoden tauon jälkeen Markus sai houkuteltua minut kameran eteen. Ja hyvä niin. Välillä tekee hyvää nähdä itsensä toisen silmien kautta. Olen kärsinyt hieman heikosta itsetunnosta hiustenlähdön ja painonnousun takia, joten jännitin aika paljon, miltä näytän kuvissa. Täytyy sanoa, että huoli oli aiheeton ja tykkään todella paljon kuvista. Luotan täysillä Markuksen visioihin ja kuvaaminen on joka kerta todella rentoa ja hauskaa.

Kuvaajana toimi siis jälleen mahdottoman lahjakas Markus Lehto/fotoni.org (linkin takaa löytyy loput kuvat).

Kuvauspaikan pihalla oli melko hämmentävä kassakaappi. (En saanut auki.) Muutenkin maasto oli aavistuksen hankala noille korottomille Jeffrey Campbellin kengille. Mutta sain kiivettyä silti tuolle tasolle, joka näkyy alapuolella. Myös tatuoinnit pääsivät näissä kuvissa vihdoin näkyviin.

Meikki oli jälleen melko tumma ja yksivärinen. Se vaan toimii itselleni parhaiten kuvissa. Huulilla oli Portland Black Lipstick Companyn tummansininen 'Indigo Bridge'. Tein tarkoituksella melko voimakkaat varjostukset kasvoihin NYXin Taupe -varjostusvärillä/poskipunalla.

In English:

Markus (fotoni.org) and I went to take some pictures after a really long time. I really enjoyed being in front of the camera, although I was quite nervous. I've been having some self-esteem issues with hair loss and gaining weight. But as always, Markus knows what he's doing and the pics turned out great. 

I kept my make up and hair very simple. It usually works the best for me in the pictures. 

Abandoned Places

Hektinen elämä jatkuu yhä. Minulle ei ole jäänyt aikaa eikä jaksamista päivittää blogia, vaikka halua olisikin. Sen verran kuitenkin, että kävin jälleen hovikuvaajani Markuksen kanssa ottamassa kuvia hylätyn tehtaan raunioilla. Todella omituinen ja hieman ahdistava paikka. Mutta todella siisti siinä samalla. Halusin päästä tepastelemaan pitkästä aikaa Jeffrey Campbellin korottomilla Nightwalkeilla. Siihen tarkoitukseen kuvauspaikka oli aika hurja valinta; joka puolella oli kaltevaa tasoa ja syviä ojia (selvisin kuitenkin yhtenä kappaleena pois).

My life is still very, very busy. I wish I had time to update my blog much more often. I had a photoshoot with Markus again. We went to the ruins of an old factory. The place was very creepy for some reason. Cool, but creepy. I wanted to wear my Jeffrey Campbell's Nightwalk shoes. The place really wasn't made for those shoes, because anywhere I went there was either uphill or down hill, or best, the both at the same time. ;)

Meikki oli aika simppeli: mustaa ja valkoista. Tekoripset löytyivät H&M:sta. Pitänee hankkia toinenkin pari, koska tykkään niiden mallista kovasti. Lähikuvia meikistä tulossa hieman myöhemmin.

I wanted to keep the make up quite simple: black & white. I found the falsies from H&M. I might get another pair 'cause they look so nice. Close-ups of the make up coming later.

Industrial Eye

Eilen tuli taas tanssittua synkän konemusiikin tahtiin Club Sindrome:ssa ja mukavaa oli. Nyt jäljellä on valtava väsymys ja kipeät lihakset. :) Samalla pääsin taas pukeutumaan ja meikkaamaan vähän näyttävämmin.

I went to an ebm/industrial club called Sindrome last night and had a really great time. I danced so much that all my muscles hurt. :) And I got to dress up and put on some dramatic make up.

Minulla on nähtävästi tapana tehdä klubeille musta-valkoinen meikki. Pimeässä melkein kaikki värit näyttävät mustalta, joten en ole jaksanut kikkailla värien kanssa. Teen värikkäitä meikkejä mieluummin päivän valossa, jolloin ne pääsevät oikeuksiinsa.

I tend to use black&white make up when I go to clubs. Mainly because dark make up will end up looking like black anyway in the dark. I rather use bright colors during day time. :)

Kuva on otettu klo 4 aamulla (ikinä ei voi ottaa valokuvia fiksuun aikaan). Päällä siis Lip Servicen 'Hyper Intelligence' -mekko ja jalassa Jeffrey Campbellin 'Night Walk' -kengät. Sain siis vihdoin testattua nuo korottomat kengät ja täytyy sanoa, että noilla oli todella hyvä tanssia. En kaatunut enkä nyrjäyttänyt nilkkojani. Ja kyllähän nuo näyttää aika perhanan hyvältä. ;)

This picture was taken after the club at 4am (always a great idea to take pictures when ready to fall asleep). I'm wearing Lip Service's 'Hyper Intelligence' dress and Jeffrey Campbell's 'Night Walk' shoes. I finally got to test these amazing heelless shoes and I must say that they're very easy to dance with. I didn't stumble and they were comfortable. And they look just bloody amazing! ;)
