Tänään on Freddie Mercuryn syntymäpäivä ja sen kunniaksi kirjoittelen uudesta hajuvedestä, joka on saanut nimestä Queenin kappaleesta 'Killer Queen'. Kyseessähän on Katy Perryn uusi parfyymi, joka on rantautunut ainakin Turussa kauppoihin. (Anttilassa tuoksu maksoi 31,90€/30ml.)
Today is Freddie Mercury's birthday and I wanted to celebrate that by writing about Katy Perry's new perfume 'Killer Queen', which is named after the famous Queen song.
Kuninkaallinen (tai kuningattarinen) teema näkyy todella voimakkaasti sekä tuoksun pakkauksessa että itse pullossa (joka on mielestäni aivan älyttömän kaunis ja vähän överi). Itse pullo on kiinni tuollaisessa muovisessa hökötyksessä. Olisi ollut kiva, jos sille saisi jonkun hienon tuen, että tuoksua voisi säilyttää pystyasennossa. Tuoksu menee Fragrantican mukaan 'fruity floral gourmand' osastoon.

Regal theme can be seen by blind person. ;) I love the bottle. It's beautiful and a bit over the top. The bottle is hold in place by this plastic "mold". It would be awesome to get some sort of stand for the bottle so you could store it upright. According to Fragrantica this scent goes to 'floral fruity gourmand' category.

Entäs itse tuoksu? :) Olen ehtinyt kokeilmaan tätä vain päivän, joten lopullinen tuomio tulee myöhemmin. Mutta näin lyhyen ajan perusteella tykkään. Tässä on jotain samaa kuin Lancomen La Vie Est Belle -hajudessä, mutta tämä on hieman kevyempi omaan nenääni. Killer Queen on makea, mutta ei överi. Pysyvyys tuntuu myös hyvältä.
What about the perfume itself? :) I've only tested this for a day. But so far, so good. There's something similar to Lancome's La Vie Est Belle, but Killer Queen is a bit lighter. It's sweet gourmand, but not overly so and staying power seems to be quite nice.
Katy Perryn musiikista en ole koskaan välittänyt, mutta Queenin musiikki on kuulunut läheisesti elämääni jo yli 20 vuotta, joten tässä vielä Killer Queen musiikin muodossa. I've never cared for Katry Perry's music, but Queen has been a part of my like over 20 years. So here's the original Killer Queen.
